so i recently found out my friend lou has a xanga page. i didnt know he was an internet nerd. i should've guessed that when i saw him with a digital camera everywhere we went that the pics would end up on the internet. L to R anthony, lou, rawb, michael chu, tony, me. my high school was 60% asian so excuse me for the lack of diversity in this picture.



if lou and myself were wearing glasses in the pic we would be 'glasses crew'. this term originated in berkeley when one day i looked around me and noticed that every one of us were wearing glasses. i lamented "how steroetypical, a group of asians and every last one of us is wearing glasses." my friends got a big hoot out of that and the 'glasses crew' was born.

i think once we were fuckin' around and we made dan put in his contacts before we went out so we wouldn't be glasses crew. kevin was our insurance, cuz he always wore contacts and eventually got lasik surgery. brian and albert from la canada soon joined our clique and both had perfect eyesight. i dont know why but i think it's something in the water up there cuz every korean fukker i know from fullerton has bad eyesight.

my mom said 'you lost weight' in that half-nagging-but-more-concerned tone today. gotta cut back on smokes and the firewater for a bit. things should get better once i start playing in that flag football league james was talking about. i need some type of activity that uses my adrenal glands; ive been feeling kinda mellow these days.
