ive met this girl N only twice before, but we chatted all day friday and monday while we were both at work. i tried asking the typical 'get-to-know-you' questions, but somehow she would turn them around onto me. sneaky, sneaky.

she's a really cool girl tho. we never ran out of things to chat about. i also got pretty good at toggling between ms word, powerpoint and instant messenger windows. it was actually weird cuz we know so much about each other but we've hardly talked. last time i saw her i was kinda drunk and yapping the whole night but she kept saying how she was impressed with how a korean guy like me could have a good sense of humor. i hope she doesnt find out how boring i am in real life.

through our conversations i realized i never really casually dated around like most people do. all my dates turned into girlfriends. she on the other hand seemed somewhat experienced in the dating game. we'll see what happens; im taking her out this sunday.

funny thing is how 'anti-smoking' she is. shes already been subtley nagging me to quit citing the obvious health hazards and how disgusting a habit it was. she even went on to say that kissing smokers was nasty. it's funny cuz we're already falling into the 'girl trying to fix the guy' dynamic and we haven't even had our first date yet. however i figure this isnt necessarily a bad thing. if things go well between us i can always quit and show how i overcame incredible odds for her. if things sour i can always start chain-smoking and blowing it into her face.

one thing ive learned from poker is that its always good to have outs.
