downtime

my coworkers chat on the phone a lot. that's the thing with the advertising industry - there are crazy-busy times and there are 'aint got shit to do' times. so while they're all chatting away with friends and loved ones, i do a lot of internet surfing. for once in my life i am totally up to date with all my bills. i also spend at least an hour or so reading news on cnn.com, latimes.com, espn.com and cnnsi.com. ebay's also a big time-killer (my newest thing is looking for and bidding on bootleg korean world cup games). and then there's this blog thing and other miscellaneous online endeavors.

since im always busy typing away in my corner cubicle, people always think im busy and doing a lot of work. if they only saw the bullshit on my screen.

whoah, i just got my paycheck. i dont know how, but i got about 100 more dollars than i should have, which is about 7 more hours that i got paid for. maybe they paid me for my interviews? i guess i'll find out next pay period. either way, i ain't complaining.
